A KNIFEMAN went on the rampage after a failed attempt to rob a Lancaster newsagent.
The man attempted to hold up a newsagents on Scotforth Road, moved on to Garstang where he held an assistant at knifepoint and made off with £200 and was then tracked down to Blackpool where he rammed police cars who tried to stop him.
The police have confirmed that they have arrested a man in connection with the incidents.
