CLITHEROE: Chief Dave Burgess has served a seven day notice on a UniBond midfielder in a bid to strengthen his team's Division One title challenge.
Tomorrow, Abbey Hey are the visitors to Shawbridge and Burgess plans to send his side out with a new challenge.
"I said to the lads before the start of the season 'let's see if we can go the first 10 games unbeaten,' said Burgess, who will be without assistant boss Lee Sculpher tomorrow. "Now we've achieved that our next challenge has got to be can we stay in the top five or six until Christmas?"
