THE Conservative Party's draft manifesto and the conference announcements of Ann Widdecombe's fines for carrying any drugs indicates their severe lurch to the right. Does this include angina and asthma medication?
Despite attempting to be all things to all people, with £16 billion of spending cuts supposedly without any damage to front-line services, the Tories are showing that they remain out of touch with voters.
Would they really substitute long-term investment in education and the NHS for short-lived tax cuts that do nothing to build the public services upon which we all depend?
The choice is clear. Sustained investment under a Labour Government or cuts under the Tories.
