A SUPERMARKET which is only 28 years old has 350 staff who have completed a total of 1,766 years service.
Management celebrated the long service of colleagues at Colne's Asda with a few bottles of bubbly.
Linda Lowcock has worked for 27 years, Susan Hatfield and Tony Burgess for 25 years and Ellen Byron for 24 years.
General store manager Paul Nicholas said: "To say we are very proud of our long service colleagues would be an understatement.
"I can not express my appreciation enough.
"As well as value-for-money it is colleagues like this that separate Asda from other retailers.
"I think that their dedication, experience and commitment to duty is second-to-none -- they really put the super into supermarket."
