STAFF at a town centre medical centre went dotty for Children in Need.

Doctors, nurses and other staff from the Peel Health Centre, Market Street could be spotted wearing specially customised Fifties and Sixties gear on Friday (Nov 17).

In keeping with the Children in Need theme of dots, staff decorated their own costumes, while receptionist Margaret Monks made spotty scarves for everyone.

And pictured during the fun with their very own Pudsey Bear are (from left) receptionists Sue Mason, Wendy Tracey, Lynne Gunnell and Helen Stephen.

Margaret said: "There were definitely dots before your eyes."

As well as raising spirits, they also managed to raise over £950 for the cause, with Bury Mayor and Mayoress Councillor Bill Johnson and his wife Joyce also coming along to lend their support.
