MOTORCYCLIST Mark Aldred, 33, from Hindley Green is still in Bolton Royal Hospital following a serious accident 12 days ago on colliery waste-land in Leigh.
Mr Aldred suffered head injuries when his enduro machine was in collision with another bike being ridden on an unofficial practice track on Plank Lane rucks.
Yesterday (Thursday) hospital staff described Mr Aldred's condition as "improving".
