BLACKPOOL'S Wasps have won another title to add to their British crown.
The annual Christmas shield for Peewee's (U12s) was contested in a final against rivals Wigan Warlords and thrilling action saw Wasps win 7-3.
The Youth (U15s) Christmas Shield will be fought out on December 17 at Darwen Leisure Centre. The Wasps have entered a young side into this contest against teams from the area to help prepare them for next season's ball league.
Wasps Minnows had another convincing win in the Greater Manchester puck league taming Trafford Tigers 32-0. And the Peewee Wasps showed their skill clipping the wings of Marple Magpies 19-1.
Wasps play host to Trafford Tornadoes on Saturday November 25 and West Coast Demons play away at Manchester Hotshots on the Sunday. Wasps Minnows are away to Bolton Eagles the same day.
