EUROPE'S biggest Toyota dealership, which has a branch in Bolton Street, Bury, has been sold.
RRG Group has been acquired by the Marubeni Corporation, one of the world's largest trading companies. The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will result in the creation of a newly-established company, Marubeni Auto Investment (UK) Ltd.
Marubeni, ranked 14 in the Fortune Global 500, own around 50 companies in the automotive sector.
RRG, which stands for Radcliffe Road Garage, was founded in Bolton in 1967.
Today, the company commands 12 car dealerships and employs more than 400 people in the North West.
