RESIDENTS on the Griffin estate in the south west area of Burnley will take another positive step forward next week with the opening of new community offices for the Barclay, Griffin and Holmestead Tenant and Resident Association.
The event follows a successful clean-up of the estate by local children during their school half-term holiday and the tenants association has been involved in attempting to improve the neighbourhood.
The Community House will be opened at 27 Padgate Place by Paul Buckley, director of housing and regeneration, on Tuesday, at 1.30pm.
