BLACKBURN with Darwen Primary Care Trust's health development team and action factor community arts have arranged a weekend of fun for young adults in the Shadsworth and Whitebirk areas of Blackburn.
Various activities for 14 to 24-year-olds will include games, graffiti walls, video box, DJ and mixing workshops.
The weekends events will be held at two venues: Shadsworth neighbourhood centre, Rothsay Road, Saturday, April 21, 1pm to 4pm and Accrington Road Community Centre on Sunday, April 22, 1pm to 4pm.
The two teams are working together to develop initiatives across the Single Regeneration Budget area to explore young peoples health needs. Encouraging young people to get involved, Health Development Project Manager, Vanessa Hollings, said: "This is an opportunity for young people to learn new skills, have a laugh and get themselves heard."
