A 29 year-old man was taken to Whiston Hospital after he lost two upper teeth in a vicious assault in the early hours of Wednesday, April 18.
The incident occurred between 12.30am and 12.45am when the man who was walking along Duke Street, St Helens, was approached by two males. One asked for money from the victim.
After refusing their demands he was then pushed against a wall and punched several times leaving him unconscious.
The men then made their escape with a wallet containing personal papers and a small quantity of cash.
The first offender is described as white, 6ft tall, stocky build with short dark hair. He was wearing a cream tracksuit top and dark coloured jeans.
The second offender is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, stocky build with short cropped hair. He was wearing a V neck jumper and dark tracksuit bottoms.
