TWO years after he committed a crime the consequences finally caught up with burglar Keith Harris.
Bury court was told that DNA techniques were used to link the 26-year-old to a break in at a house in March 1999. During the burglary in Whitefield, property including a TV, video and phone, valued at £450, were taken.
Harris, of Glendevon Place, Whitefield, pleaded guilty to entering a building as a trespasser and also admitted a further break-in at a hair and beauty salon in March this year. Harris was committed to the Crown Court for sentence. He will appear there on May 23.
