NELSON is the base for a new national service to help employment, education and voluntary organisations to find grants from the UK Government and Europe.
Fundingfinders.co.uk will identify, monitor and manage grant applications for clients in the public and voluntary sectors.
The business has been established by Cath Whelan who says it is the first of its kind in the UK.
"With a huge array of grants and funding schemes, organisations can miss out because they don't know what is available," she said.
"We search for funds, prepare bid proposals and offer monitoring and management of projects to ensure the beneficiary organisations maximise their grant and satisfy all the grant objectives."
The business was established with assistance from Northern Technologies of Nelson.
Director Steve Wilkinson said: "This service provides a very useful and much-needed interface between the supply and demand side of available funds."
