MURDER, madness, and a touch of comedy should make for an interesting night out in Fleetwood.
For the town's Marine Hall is hosting The Changeling, hailed one of the greatest plays of the Jacobean era, on May 1 at 7.30pm.
The play tells the story of Beatrice Joanna, a wealthy aristocrat engaged to be married. When she falls in love with someone else, she murders her fiance with the help of her father's servant, who then demands his reward.
The play is being staged by Third Party, a theatre company now on its eleventh UK tour, and is directed by John Wright, better known for his work with Trestle theatre company. Tickets, priced £5 adults, £2.50 children and senior citizens, are available by phoning 770547.
