BURY'S French connection should be strengthened further this summer and local people are invited to "get on board".
A luxury week-long coach trip to the borough's twin town of Tulle will leave from Bury on Saturday, July 21, with a hotel stop, both ways, in the city of Orleans.
Those taking part in the twinning visit will get free board and lodgings from local families.
You do not need to be able to speak French and visitors will also be able to take part in an all-day excursion from Tulle.
The trip is being organised by Bury Metro Community Twinning Association and the cost, with dinner, bed and breakfast in Orleans, is £265 per person.
