THIRTY-eight year old Adrian Cooke, who was found dead in his flat in Burnley, died suddenly from a heart problem.
An inquest was told that Mr Cooke, of Holly House, Holmes Street, may have been dead for up to four days.
John Cooke, of Moor View Close, Harle Syke, told the hearing that he was in regular touch with his brother.
In the days before the tragedy was discovered he had been to his flat twice and rung him on a number of occasions without reply.
On Monday, January 15, the warden let him into the flat and he found his brother's body on a settee.
Pathologist Dr Abdul Al-Dawoud said toxicology tests were all negative and there were no marks of violence.
Post mortem examination revealed an abnormality and severe narrowing of an artery in the heart. Cause of death was heart disease.
East Lancashire Coroner recorded a verdict of death from natural causes.
