DUDLEY Stationery has made a total of 19 people redundant from its Burnley operations as part of a restructuring of its business.
London-based Dudley said the Burnley branch would continue to provide office furniture and stationery to its clients in the North of Engalnd.
Burnley's Dudley operation was originally part of office supplies firm FH Brown which has been operating in the town for more than 70 years.
In 1997, FH Brown was taken over by Dudley in a multi-million-pound deal which created one of the UK's largest office products dealers.
In August last year, a management buy-out of the computer, telecoms, copiers and fax business of the Burnley business saw the return of one of East Lancashire's oldest names with the creation of FH Brown Office Technologies.
The office furniture and stationery division remained with Dudley.
A spokesman for Dudley said today: "The Burnley office of Dudley continues to service a major customer base across the North of England and is looking forward to further growth."
