I AM writing about the story you ran about the Heysham man that had a stone thrown off the bridge in Lancaster last week.
He should not let the children off so easy and police should charge them with attempted murder, because a few years ago children killed a friend of mine throwing a stone off a bridge, leaving a young widow and children without a father.
The same man had managed to live through all the troubles in Northern Ireland.
I have had a brick thrown through my windscreen in Manchester and it is not very nice and luckily no-one was hurt or killed.
One thing is where are the parent of these children and why are they not looking after them?
I hope that if anyone sees children throwing stones at cars to report them, so no other family will have to go through what my friend's family had to go through.
