BURY-based technical PR specialists Ainsworth Maguire (AM) are hoping for a long hot summer.

Elero UK, suppliers of power and control systems for the automation of awnings, blinds and shutters, have appointed the Bury company to take care of trade public relations.

And the alliance brings back together the most experienced team in the industry, according to Ainsworth Maguire.

Elero directors Paul Connor and Andy PerryCool have many years in the business and are well known to shading and security manufacturers throughout the UK.

From their Runcorn base, they are able to service all the UK easily.

They have worked previously with Kevin Ainsworth and Adrian Maguire of AM, and pioneered the development of the premium motorised awning market in the UK.

Elero's UK operation has the backing of Elero GMBH, the inventor and largest manufacturer of tubular motors in the world and which is also part of the Gunther Group.

Kevin Ainsworth of AM, based at Power House in Parker Street, Bury, explained: "The solar control market shows great promise.

"Consumers increasingly want drives and controls for effortless awning operations, while modern offices demand automated blinds and reliable shutters.

"The precision engineered German motors meet these needs perfectly," he concluded.
