ASTLEY and Tyldesley Road Runners have been busy in recent weeks competing in two local 10k races.
In the Salford 10k event, A&T were led home by Shaun Moran in a time of 34.24. Paul Mannion was 107th in 37.42 and Craig Bradbury 148th in 39.36. The event was won by Robert Deakin of Staffordshire in 30.05.
Last Sunday Moran again was the first A&T runner home in the Bolton 10k. He finished 26th in 34.59 with Bradbury 80th in 39.29. In his first run for the club, Mark Riches was 104thin 41.11.
A&T runner Dave Potter completed the London Marathon in 3:19, raising money for the New Born Baby Appeal.
