NEWCHURCH Women's Institute, Culcheth, have been praised for the knitting of baby clothes for the Warrington NHS Trust Baby Unit.
In a letter from the unit, members of the WI were asked to "keep knitting" the much appreciated baby clothes received by the staff of the unit.
Success for the Newchurch ladies continued with the coffee morning held to promote fair trade products managing to raise £65.
The next meeting will be held at Newchurch Parish Hall on May 9 at 7.30pm and is to include food tasting.
