WIGAN Council has extended its consultation deadline for replying to how the authority is run.
Residents have now got until May 14 to say which one of three options they prefer the council to be run. The council has already had more than 8,000 replies to the choice of -- a leader and cabinet; an elected mayor and cabinet; or an elected mayor with a council manager.
Anyone who thinks they have not received a copy of the leaflet by May 7 and would like to respond should contact the council on 01942 827069. Or register your views on their website www.wiganmbc.gov.uk
