A SENIOR lab technician from Platt Bridge is enjoying a well earned rest this week.

Jeff Page, of Neville Street, is putting his feet up after running Sunday's London marathon -- raising much needed funds for the Cancer Research Campaign.

He completed the gruelling 26.2 miles course in a respectable four hours 10 minutes and is now taking a well deserved break.

Jeff said: " I lost my mother to cancer and have managed to raise over £1,500 for cancer research.

"We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, that's why it is important to support the vital work of the Cancer Research Campaign."

And it's not too late to support Jeff in raising vital funds for the Cancer Research Campaign.

Any donations made now will still go towards the charity's London Marathon total for this year.

Donations can be sent to Jeff c/o Claire Bradley, National Events, The Cancer Research Campaign, 10 Cambridge Terrace, London, NW1 4JL.
