TWO teenagers had their mobile phone taken when they were robbed at knifepoint.
The girl and boy, both aged 14, were walking in Pringle Street, in the Audley area of Blackburn. between 9am and 9.40am yesterday when they were approached by three youths who demanded their phone, worth £30.
One of the youths was armed with a 10 inch knife.
He was as an Asian male, 16-17 years of age, six feet tall, wearing a black Donnay tracksuit top and had dark cropped hair.
The other two males were Asian youths, aged 16-17. No one was injured during the attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact PC 2835 Sandham at Blackburn Police on 01254 51212.
A spokesman for Blackburn police said: "This is a disturbing offence, which happened close to a busy main road.
"We are anxious to trace anyone who may have information which could help us catch those responsible before they attempt to rob somebody else."
