PARLEZ-vous Franais? A group of Blackpool pupils certainly did when they visited Paris recently. The party of 32 students from years eight and nine at St Mary's High School made a night-time tour of the city during their trip as well as practising the lingo and soaking up French culture.
Year eight student Catherine Haydon said: "We saw all the famous sights, including the Eiffel Tower, the River Seine and Notre Dame. We were happy that we had seen a bit of France, polished up our speaking skills and had a lot of fun en route."
