THE REDS are coming! And youngsters are going to make sure they're keeping their eye on the ball at one Blackpool school.
Manchester United are visiting St George's High school on Cherry Tree Road to hold a school of excellence for young soccer players over the bank holiday weekend.
It is the second time the champions have chosen the Marton school as the venue for one of its weekends, and they're expecting it to be a hit.
Sean Bullen, deputy head, said: "It was a huge success last time and gives local boys and girls something special to do over the bank holiday.
"We have developed something of a tradition for helping soccer stars present and future since Fulham trained at St George's before one of their matches against Blackpool."
The two-day course runs May 5-6 from 9.30am until 4pm, and is open to youngsters of all ages who want to sharpen their skills. The cost is £20 for one day, or £33 for both days. For information tel (0161) 643 5955.
