TWO Bolton-le-Sands women performed in the Keep Fit Association's National Competitions at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on April 7.
Ann Wardle and Glenys Huntington were members of a team of ladies from the North West who have spent many hours rehearsing a routine using hoops to music from Sunset Boulevard.
They competed against 9 other teams in the Apparatus section of the competition, which lasted all weekend, and although they did not finish in the top three places, thoroughly enjoyed the competition. Other members of the Lune Valley KFA went to support them, and to watch the other categories in the competition which is held every two years.
On May 12th, members of Lune Valley KFA travel to King Georges Hall, Blackburn, for the North West KFA AGM and rally, where the local team will be performing.
Anybody wanting tickets for this event, and for more information about the KFA should contact Ann Wardle on 01524 822738
