SYDNEY Olympic gymnast Craig Heap received the thanks of his old training centre when he handed over a cheque for more than £1,000.
The money will help buy a specification Olympic vaulting horse for the Thompson Centre in Burnley.
Craig won a Kellogg's personal best award and the bonus was that for every pound awarded to Craig the same amount was made by Kellogg's so that Craig could make the donation to the place where his career started.
He handed a cheque for £1,020 to Karen Bradford, head of leisure and his former coach Stewart Ingham who is programme and events manager at the centre.
