BLACKPOOL-based homeless charity Streetlife has received a welcome donation of dough from Warburtons bakery in Squires Gate, Blackpool.
The donation of £125 is just one of 125 that Warburtons is making to various charities around the UK as part of its 125th anniversary celebrations.
The donation will enable the centre to buy recreational equipment such as musical instruments, board games and magazines to ensure that the day visitors' time at Streetlife is as enjoyable as possible.
The day centre helps homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25 and offers a health clinic, food parcels, clothes and blankets as well as advice to help youngsters find accommodation and generally get back on their feet.
Roy Jones from Warburtons said: "This is the only charity of its type within the Blackpool area and Warburtons are proud to be part of such a great community initiative."
