I WOULD like to know what other readers feel about the lack of choice today. I have just received a renewal reminder for my gas central heating service and find I no longer have a choice of service and labour only. I must have the full 3-star contract which is about £25 more per year and covers replacement of parts. This is almost double what I paid only four years ago.
I prefer to save the money and pay for parts as necessary. Now I have to choose to do without and risk my life or pay what they decree. Does anyone know of any other company which provides a service on contract?
