'I DON'T think I know who it is to blame for the children's terrible behaviour', it's the parents -- who else, (Citizen, April 26th).

If they were made to pay money for the terrible results of what their children do there would be no trouble from the kids.

We are getting to the stage where decent people on the streets dare not to look at some of these children, or they'll come out with a mouthful.

This must be happening in the homes well, this is where the trouble starts. They are strutting around like little Hitlers.

These little bullies must be frightening to a lot of children and also to the teachers, who have to put up with them for hours. So I suggest that parents are made to pay, not the council.

When we were young and we did something wrong, the thought that our dad would be told, put fear into our hearts and we didn't repeat the misdemeanour again.
