FEARS are growing for the safety of a teenager missing from home since Tuesday.

"We have not been able to trace any of his friends and are appealing for anybody who knows where he is to contact the police. We just want to know he is okay."

He is 5ft 8in tall, slim with a pale complexion. He has black' collar length hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a navy "Fila" jacket, cream tracksuit bottoms and grey and black trainers. Anyone with information is asked to contact Blackburn police on 01254 51212.
