NELSON boss John Bailey is confident his side can still win promotion despite drawing their last two games.

Bailey's boys dropped crucial points against Squires Gate and Daisy Hill to put the heat on the Victoria Park side.

But victories in the last two games of the season should see them go up -- and Bailey still has his sights on going up as NWCL Division Two champions. Nelson travel to Alsager tomorrow before Monday's crunch game at Victoria Park against title-rivals Warrington.

Bailey, who has a fully fit squad to choose from, said: "We have had a bit of a slip up in the last couple of games but the lads are not downhearted. We know what we have to do and we are determined to go up as champions.

"So it would be nice for Blackpool Mechanics to do us a favour on Saturday and beat Warrington Town who are also going for the title."

Warrington returned to top spot with a 3-1 win at Bootle last night.
