A CHARITY wants golfers to come to the fore and help Lancashire's cancer victims.
Macmillan Cancer Relief has organised a golf-a-thon to test the resolve of the most dedicated golfers.
The Longest Day Golf Challenge asks golfers to play four rounds in one day -- that's a 20 mile walk, 72 holes and more than 300 shots on any day between June 14 and July 14.
In Lancashire 4,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Macmillan supports these people from the moment they are first diagnosed.
To take up the challenge call Tracy Viner on 0114 2561350 or Kathryn Hindmarsh on 0207 8404614, or you can e-mail khindmarsh@macmillan.org.uk
