YOUNGSTERS promised to do their best as they enrolled as members of Darwen's latest Rainbow Guide pack.
Ten girls aged between five and seven were signed up as the first recruits of the new Highfield Rainbows at a ceremony at Highfield Congregational Church.
The group was launched after leaders reported an increase in the number of children wanting to join and is now the fourth of its kind in the town.
