DARWEN police have issued descriptions of men who tried to break into a corner shop but ran off when the burglar alarm sounded.
The pair broke the door lock of Heyne's shop, in Dewhurst Street between 2.05pm and 2.15pm on Saturday.
One man is described as white, 6ft, in his late teens and wearing a navy blue jumper.
The other is described as white, 5ft 10ins, with dirty blond hair and wearing a white jumper with a Kickers motif.
