PEOPLE living on and near Bury Road are petitioning the engineering and planning committee to have speed limits in their area reduced.
They want the 40mph limit to be cut to 30mph between Rossendale Car Showroom and Horncliffe and the national speed limit reduced to 50mph into Edenfield.
The matter will be considered at tomorrow's meeting.
