PRESTON North End have lined up two mouth-watering pre season clashes with Champions League semi-finalists Leeds United and Serie A side Verona.

The match against the Italian side, on Friday August 3, is part of Lee Cartwright's testimonial celebrations.

The Rossendale winger has spent ten years at Deepdale.

Chief Executive Tony Scholes said: "Lee has been a fantastic servant to this club and for his testimonial to be held against a team who currently play in the best league in the world is wonderful."

North End will also face Premiership giants Everton and hold a training camp in Germany and Austria, where they are hoping to arrange a couple of games against local opposition.
