FIREFIGHTERS had to cut a woman free from car after it was in collision with a bus.
The fire crew spent 30 minutes cutting the driver of the Vauxhall Nova free following the smash at the junction of St Helen's Road and Atherleigh Way. She was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her injuries were said to have been minor. The driver and passengers on the bus were unharmed, as was the female car passenger.
