A VOLUNTEER who ran guided walks from Groundwork Rossendale for several years Rudi Plummer has died aged 74.
Mr Plummer was a former teacher in schools in Kirby and Prestwich and a keen cyclist and lived at Burnley Road East, Whitewell Bottom.
He died on Saturday and leaves his wife Joan, two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters.
His funeral will be tomorrow, from the Chapel of Rest at Fred Hamer's in Rawtenstall before a cremation at Burnley at 3.30pm.
