LEE Pinder (Your Letters, August 3) describes the fencing around the Lido as an eyesore, but I put it to him that, although not aesthetically pleasing, it is a necessary safety precaution.
I applaude the council for realising the dangerous potential of Clarence Lido. If such a action prevents accidents I am all for for it.
