BURNLEY solicitor Richard Taylor is set to become the Acting Coroner for East Lancashire. Father-of-two, Mr Taylor, 45, takes up the post on September 1, 21 years to the day since he started working and takes over from David Smith, who is retiring
He lives in Barrowford with his wife Jackie and children Edward, 12 and Emily, eight ., is a partner in the firm of Southerns and is based at their Burnley office.
Born and bred in the town, the solicitor studied at Chester Law School. He is a keen golfer in his spare time.
Mr Taylor, who has been Assistant Deputy Coroner in the area for three years, said he hoped he could follow in the footsteps of his well regarded predecessors.
