THE Royal British Legion has made an appeal for army and sea cadets from Great Harwood who go to Accrington or Blackburn to be active in their own town's poppy appeal.
Cadets and members of the public who wish to help in the build up to November 11 can call Paul Dunn on 01254 619331.
The legion also has teachers' notes available for use in schools to educate children about the importance of Remembrance Day or they can call Paul to arrange a visit to the school.
