A 53-YEAR-OLD man suffered severe facial injuries after being attacked by two youths in Blackpool.
The man was walking home as he was attacked by the two near Devonshire Square at around midnight last night (Wednesday).
Police said the man suffered severe injuries to his face caused by some kind of implement.
He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but later transferred to hospital in Preston for further treatment.
Both youths were around age 16 and one wore an orange jacket.
