SINCE September 11 I have been, I think, in a state of shock. Today, for no reason I can define, I wept for the almost 7,000 people who died on that day.

We must destroy whoever is responsible and rescue the innocent from their clutches.

In World War Two we had to destroy the fanaticism of the Nazi regime and despite the tragic deaths of many civilians Germany can now raise its head proudly among nations.

War is evil -- perhaps the greatest of all man's evil. No war is holy, nor can it ever be.
