LYTHAM St Annes Technology College proved it was a real wizard school after the half-term break.
All sorts of spooky events went on for the school's Hallowe'en book week in the library resource centre.
Pupils wrote five minute scary stories to win a ticket to a Hallowe'en "horrid lunch" which included coffin sandwiches, bat cakes, spooky music and a chance to wear ghastly masks made in art classes plus a visit of live bats and owls to the school.
