LEYLAND Barracudas had a tremendous outing against Blackburn Centurions, Fleetwood, and Rosegrove at the Daisyfield Pool, Blackburn.
This has been the second match of the Micro League season and the second win.
The first three quarters maintained steady progress with some great swims from Joe Leeming, Lisa Topping, Natalie Murray, Ryan Bennett and Grace Raines.
Barracudas held the lead going into the final quarter, and stormed away with excellent swims from the U/10, and U/12 boys. The cannon brought a nail biting finale to the event and another victory to Leyland Barracudas Micro A Team (captained by Rebecca Rhodes and Jack Johnson)
The following swimmers have been chosen to represent the 'North Lancs Swimming Team' at the Inter Association 2002 to be held at Salford: Suzanne Corbett, Philip Isherwood, Ian Aguilar, Dan King, Katy Greig, Nicole Aguilar, Jack Johnson, Oliver Raimond, Lisa Topping, Ryan Bennett, John Halliwell and Sam Brewster.
