I AM completely at a loss to understand the people who complained about Millie's garden (LET, March 29).
Don't these people watch the news or read the papers? This is an increasingly dangerous world for children.
Millie is already at a disadvantage. She may never have the mobility that the rest of us take for granted. So why rob her of both pleasure and safety?
As for the "jobsworths" of Hyndburn Council, don't they have any children? All children deserve a safe place to play, and it is appalling that they are denying that for Millie.
