NEIL Simpson's hopes of contesting this weekend's Pirelli International Rally have been dashed at the last minute.
The 30-year-old Colne driver has been forced to withdraw from the event, opening round of the Pirelli British Rally Championship, after a promised sponsorship deal collapsed.
