ON Monday, April 8, myself and many others joined the mayor and mayoress at a special service in Bury Parish Church to give thanks for, and to celebrate, the life of the Queen Mother.
But where were our councillors? I did not see one of them and it did not go unnoticed by others. Where has respect gone?
Also, how wonderful if was to hear and sing the National Anthem at the end of the service.
